About Racey Stacey
Where it began
Born and raised in central Texas, Stacey Braden spent more time outdoors than in, from riding bicycles to horses. After being a passenger on a motorcycle in 2007, she found another passion she never knew existed. After completing her MSF class and learning to ride on the street, she found her way to the track in 2009. She raced in the CMRA between 2013 to 2015, and began teaching with Ridesmart Trackday School in 2020. Stacey also enjoys riding dirt bikes on trails, and routinely teaches brand new rides on dirt as well.Â
Sharing our passion
Stacey met her future husband David while on a street ride in 2009. While it took a few twists and turns, they proved that sometimes things are just meant to be. In 2021, these two best friends finally tied the knot. David is also an instructor with Ridesmart Motorcycle School and has been riding sportbikes almost his entire life!
Coaching equals joy
Paying it forward is ever-present in the motorcycle community. Stacey has been blessed many times over with assistance, guidance, and caring. An integral part of Racey Stacey Rider Coaching is giving back, to share the exhilaration and happiness of being on two wheels. To that end, we do all we can to make being on the track accessible, to listen to our students, and to learn together.
Continued mentorship
As a Founder of the Litas Austin Chapter, Stacey passionately grows the motorcycle community for women through monthly meetups that can include a street ride, meeting to network, introducing womxn riders to the track or mini-moto environment, and more.
